LSR Group has begun production of new three-layer reinforced concrete panels

31 March 2026

The Company’s homebuilders in Saint Petersburg and Yekaterinburg have launched the production of new wall panels for house construction – three-layer panels featuring insulation and a decorative finish on the façade. Previously, the homebuilders produced only standard reinforced concrete panels which required additional work to finish the façade once installed on site.

Three-layer panels are made from durable reinforced concrete held together by corrosion-resistant metal frameworks. Insulation inside provides high levels of thermal and noise prevention. The outer surface of these panels already has a finished architectural appearance and a surface that can be painted immediately after installation. It is made from a special concrete mix of new formulations. The result is a textured surface that can imitate brickwork, natural stone, wood and other textures. This technology shapes the façade’s appearance, conceals joints and protects connections from moisture and cold. The inner surface of the panels is a smooth A4-grade finish that requires no plastering: a thin layer of filler is sufficient, and the wallpaper can then be applied.

The thickness of the three-layer structures is 320 mm. The panels can be installed on site in all weather conditions. They are characterized by high load-bearing capacity and resistance to weathering, rot and corrosion.

The LSR Group’s plants: LSR. Construction – North-West and LSR. Construction – Ural are the largest high-tech complexes for the production of reinforced concrete products in their respective regions. The plants provide a full cycle of turnkey construction of residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities using precast reinforced concrete.

The installation of the first buildings using the new three-layer reinforced concrete wall panels has already begun in Yekaterinburg and Saint Petersburg. Such usage makes it possible to significantly reduce construction times and thus speed up the handover of keys to buyers. For example, in Yekaterinburg, the ground floor of a future 16-storey building with a floor area of around 12,000 square metres was erected by the plant’s specialists in just four days.
