Landmarks of history

LSR Group was founded in 1993 in St. Petersburg. Over time, it expanded from a regional company to a federal scale market leader.

2008

  • LSR Group completed the acquisition of four companies in Yekaterinburg: OJSC Nova-Stroy, a large real estate developer; OOO SMU Nova-Stroy, the leading construction contractor; OOO PKU Nova-StroyProekt design office; and OOO Uralscheben, the crushed granite producer.
  • LSR Group put into operation a new aerated concrete plant in Ukraine and also completed the acquisition of OJSC Obukhiv Porous Concrete Plant, the largest aerated concrete producer in the Ukrainian market.

2010

  • During SPO we sold 9,366,383 ordinary shares represented by GDRs.

2012

  • We launched our brick plant in Pavlovsky Posad (Moscow region) with designed capacity of 70 million bricks per annum.
  • We launched a new brick plant in the Kirovsky district of the Leningrad region with annual production capacity of up to 160 million bricks.

2014

  • LSR Group presents Saint Petersburg with Russian Guards of the Great War Memorial.
  • LSR Group wins contest for redevelopment of industrial areas of I.A. Likhachov Plant (ZiL) in Moscow. Within implementation of the project 1.57 mln sq. m of a real property shall be constructed. The company offered the best terms and conditions for the project implementation and proved its compliance with the requirements.

2016

  • LSR Group started sales of apartments in its new residential project «Luchi» in Moscow.
  • LSR Group started implementation of construction, reconstruction and operation project of tram lines in Krasnogvardeysky District of Saint Petersburg.
  • LSR Group started sales of apartments in its new large-scale residential project «Civilization» in Saint Petersburg.

2018

  • Sergey Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, opens the Tyufeleva Roscha Park created by LSR Group close to the ZILART project.
  • CEO of LSR Group Andrey Molchanov is awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of the Leningrad Region.

2020

  • The company took applications for apartments in the ZILART TOWER skyscraper, which is under construction as part of Moscow’s business-class ZILART residential complex.
  • LSR began work in Sochi, launching projects in resort, leisure and the hotel business.
  • LSR Group secured the right to raise the ground level and develop 143 hectares of land in the northern part of the Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg.

2022

  • LSR built the first assisted-living facility in Vsevolozhsky District of Leningrad Region. The Group also signed an agreement on cooperation in the social sector with the regional government.
  • A new assisted-living centre was opened as part of the Tsvetnoy Gorod residential complex in St. Petersburg.
  • LSR Group began work on a large-scale project in the northern part of Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg.
  • The Nevsky1 business centre in St. Petersburg reopened after reconstruction and greeted new high-quality tenants.
  • LSR Group entered the thermal insulation business, launching production of LSR.THERMO aerated concrete (the lightest aerated concrete produced in Russia’s northwest).
  • LSR Group returned to the real estate market in Leningrad Region, launching construction work on the LSR. Rzhevsky Park residential complex in Vsevolozhsky District.

2009

  • Our Moscow real estate BU (CJSC Mosstroyrekonstruktsiya) and the Morton Group of Companies signed a contract to construct six residential buildings with a total area of 140,000 m2 worth RUB 3.9 billion for the needs of the RF Ministry of Defence in Balashikha, Moscow Region.

2011

  • We signed an investment contract with ООО Bolshoye Domodedovo (a company of Coalco Development group of companies) to build a mass market neighborhood with a total area of approximately 335 th m2 on a land plot of 40 ha in Domodedovo, Moscow Region.
  • We acquired OJSC Pavlovskaya Keramika, one of the largest facing brick plants in the Moscow region.

2013

  • We started construction of a low-rise residential neighbourhood Michurinsky with a total area of 232 thousand m2, which is the largest low-rise project in Yekaterinburg.
  • We commissioned our first apartment hotel in St. Petersburg. The building located at 68, Nevsky Prospect was reconstructed according to the original plans dated XIX century and became a landmark in the historical centre of the city.
  • We started a large-scale project on a land plot with a total area of 600 hectares in St. Petersburg. The project implies construction of 4 million m2 of housing and social infrastructure facilities.
  • We completed upgrade of our prefabricated factory in St. Petersburg. As a result its production capacity increased up to 500 thousand m2 which makes it the largest prefabricated production facility in Northwestern Russia.
  • LSR Group has become the largest manufacturer of bricks in Russia after acquiring Ryabovsky brick plant. The combined capacity of our brick factories has now reached 450 million bricks per year.

2015

  • LSR Group has been included in the list of strategically important Russian companies in the «residential construction» category.

2017

  • The company started construction of Meridian residential complex in Yekaterinburg that shall include 16 houses on the border between Akademichesky and Michurinsky microdistricts.
  • LSR Group started construction of NEVA HAUS elite residential complex on Petrovsky Island in Saint Petersburg.
  • LSR Group started construction of Tsvetnoy Bulvar residential complex in Yekaterinburg. Total area of the complex is 120 th sq. m.

2019

  • LSR Group joined the United Nations Global Compact.
  • LSR Group’s Tyufeleva Roshcha and Russkiy Dom won the 2019 International Architecture Awards.
  • LSR Group launched a new aerated concrete production line in Leningrad region.
  • LSR Group acquired the H+H aerated concrete plant.
  • LSR Group CEO Andrey Molchanov was awarded the Medal of the Order for Merit to the Fatherland, First Class

2021

  • LSR Group and the State Museum of Architecture signed a cooperation agreement to renovate the Melnikov House, a monument of the Russian avant-garde.
  • LSR Group entered the townhouse market, developing a standard design for a single-storey house that uses materials from the Group’s reinforced concrete plant in Ekaterinburg.
  • LSR started work as an upscale housing developer in Moscow after the Federal Antimonopoly Services gave permission to acquire Soymonovsky LLC, which held title to 0.9 ha on Soymonovsky Drive (a prestige location opposite the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour).
  • LSR began work on the Morskaya Milya comfort-class residential complex in the southeast of St. Petersburg.
  • LSR purchased the Sestroretsky Kurort health resort in St. Petersburg and the Kristall recreation centre in Sochi.
  • LSR Group purchased the Volna health resort in Sochi.
  • LSR Group began construction work at the Zelyony Ostrov residential complex in Ekaterinburg.
  • The company began work on the Malachite project in Ekaterinburg.
  • The company won an auction for a historic building at 14/2 Zubovskaya Street in Moscow. The building was formerly owned by Brigadier Koshelev, and at various times it was used as the Usachevsko-Chernyavskoye women’s school and a dormitory of the Frunze Military Academy.
  • The company began construction work at the WAVE business-class residential complex on Borisovskiye Prudy Street in Moscow.

2008
