This century's first newly built health resort in the region the Crystal Health Resort opened its doors in Sochi

The official ceremony to welcome the first guests took place on November 15.

Crystal health resort is a project of LSR Group, one of Russia's largest construction holdings, which has been rapidly developing its resort and hotel business in recent years. The nine-story building was constructed in three years. It is the first health-resort in Sochi built from scratch in the 21^st century. Crystal health resort is located in Khostinsky district, one of the resort areas of Sochi.

The building's futuristic appearance, with its flowing lines and cascading balconies offering views of the sea and mountains is a nod to the picturesque stone canyons, terraced fields, and tea plantations for which Sochi is so famous.

Guests can choose from 354 rooms in eight different categories, ranging from 24 to 65 square meters, all featuring a minimalist design. In addition to classic rooms with private balconies or terraces, there are also special medical suites equipped with an infrared sauna and medical equipment for in-room treatments.

The Crystal Medical Center, covering over 5,000 square meters, combines cutting-edge medical technology with the centuries-old traditions of a balneological resort. Over 90 medical specialists, including specialized physicians, work in 80 rooms equipped with innovative equipment and technologies for mud and hydrotherapy, cryotherapy, mitohacking, and neuronutrition.

The Medical Center also features an aquathermal zone with a 25-meter heated pool filled with mineral water, with both indoor and outdoor sections, as well as saunas and a hammam.

The center of the natural space is a spacious atrium with a winter garden under a glass dome. It features 100-year-old, three-meter-tall Dicksonia tree ferns. They grow just 3 centimeters per year. In Russia, similar specimens are found only in major botanical gardens, but in Sochi, they are the only ones of their kind. Native to Tasmania and southeastern Australia, they arrived at the health resort from Italy, where they soaked up the sunlight in a special nursery. To ensure the plants feel comfortable, a special microclimate has been created in the winter garden using a drip irrigation and misting system. A total of 20 species of tropical plants have been planted in the Crystal winter garden, including ficus, hibiscus, palms, six species of orchids, and vines climb the balconies several stories high.

Overall, the resort's leafy design by the world's best landscape architects represents three climatic zones: the tropics in the atrium's winter garden, the subtropics on the open terrace overlooking the sea, and the Mediterranean in the surrounding area. Around the building, 60-year-old evergreen cedars have been preserved, and young pines have been planted, filling the air with healing phytoncides.

The resort's amenities also include a private beach club on the Black Sea coast, 300 meters from the complex, a multi-level fitness center, and a yoga terrace. For complete recuperation, guests can enjoy a pump room with six types of mineral water, a beauty salon, relaxation areas, and professionally organized children's areas. Four dining options are available on site: two restaurants (buffet and à la carte), a lobby bar, and a herbal tea bar with a detox concept. Covered parking for 85 cars is available.

The resort's unique charm is enhanced by original art pieces: ‘Shashlik’ and ‘Man Taking a Photograph’ by sculptor Daniil Kaminker, ‘Cube in the Fourth Dimension’ by Kirill Aleksandrov, and others, which will become additional points of attraction for guests.
