A delegation from China headed by Mr. Mu Peng, Vice Mayor of Beijing have visited the reclaimed territories of the City of St. Petersburg.
Mr. Mu Peng and his colleagues have arrived in the Northern capital on a working visit for the exchange of experience and knowledge on the issues of the City’s planning, development and preservation of its historical and cultural heritage. The unique experience of LSR Group in the creation of artificial territories on the Vasilyevsky Island has been chosen in particular for the demonstration of achievements in the construction industry.
First, the works in the northern part of the Island with the reclamation process being currently in full swing have been demonstrated to the high-ranking foreigners. Particular attention has been paid to the environmental issues and compensation measures.
Then, the delegation headed to the southern part of the Island with the ongoing construction of our business-class residential complex Sea Embankment on the already created artificial lands, the first stage of which is already being populated.
The excursion by the LSR Group representatives has aroused keen interest among the Chinese specialists. They were delighted with the used advanced engineering solutions and integrated approach for the creation of an urban environment that meets the most modern requirements for comfort and considers all the current needs of the City’s residents.
