LSR Group built a new dormitory for students from Ural Federal University

Modern 16-storey building, located on Fonvizina str. 8, will comfortably accommodate 1328 people.

Real Estate - Ural (part of LSR Group, one of the largest construction holdings in Russia). — We already have a positive experience in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Ural Federal University (UrFU) and we will be glad to continue it.
The student accommodation is organized in residential units, consisting of two rooms, an entrance hall, a kitchen-niche and a separate bathroom. Overall, there are 332 such units, 17 of which are universal for the possible residence of young people with limited mobility.
The kitchens are equipped with an electric hob, a refrigerator, work surfaces, wall cabinets with a dish dryer. Rooms are equipped with beds, bedside tables, chairs, tables and wardrobes. In the hallways, there are hangers with a shelf for hats and stands for shoes.
For the students’ convenience, on the floors of the new dormitory there are study areas with desks and bookcases, as well as places for relaxation equipped with upholstered furniture. Utility rooms were also provided, such as laundry, ironing room and areas for drying clothes. There are four elevators running between the floors of the dormitory. A recreation area with 50 trees, 265 shrubs and 310 perennial flowers was organized in the yard.
LSR Group paid special attention to security issues. Access to the dormitory is provided by a special access control system. The building is equipped with the video surveillance and fire alarms.
It should be noted that the dormitory was built according to the well-established prefabricated housing construction technology from the products of the reinforced concrete plant, which is a part of the LSR Group.
- The new dormitory is located on the site of the emergency building built in 1934 and it will be able to accommodate three times as many students. The project is distinguished by the modern equipment and comfortable furniture, the availability of infrastructure for students with limited mobility. We have provided everything necessary for the comfortable and safe living of students, their studies and recreation, - said the Rector of UrFU Viktor Koksharov.
The first to enter the new building were three hundred Russian schoolchildren, participants in the "Test Drive in the Ural Federal District" campaign.
