Maksim Sokolov Participated at the Strategic Planning Forum

Maksim Sokolov, First Deputy CEO of LSR Group, together with Aleksei Kudrin, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Kotyukov, Minister of Science and Higher Education, Aleksandr Beglov, Governor of Saint Petersburg, and the heads of the Novosibirsk and Ulyanovsk regions participated in the plenary session of the 18th All-Russia Forum for Strategic Planning in Cities and Regions of the Russian Federation.
The forum's main topic of discussion was centered on ways to achieve the national goals outlined in the president's decree, including the national Housing and Urban Environment project. Maksim Sokolov, a member of the LSR Group Executive Committee, was invited to this high-profile event as the industry expert.
"Our company, as the one of the largest largest federal developer with 26 years of experience, is of course involved in implementing the national project," said Mr. Sokolov. "The annual construction of 120 million square meters of housing is an extremely ambitious task. The achievement of it requires coordination between business, municipal, regional, and federal authorities. During the industry's difficult transition period to project financing, it is extremely important for regulators to create transparent and mutually beneficial business conditions. Evidently, one of the main drivers for success will be a reduction of mortgage rates by banks."
The forum has been held in St. Petersburg since 2002. It has become the main platform for discussing methods and mechanisms for strategic planning and for constructive discussion on the most important and acute issues in implementing development projects in cities and regions across the Russian Federation.
