LSR Group and the Leningrad Region Commit to Cooperation in the Social Sphere

LSR Group, one of the leading real estate developers in Russia, and the government of the Leningrad Region have signed a strategic agreement on cooperation in the social sphere. The document was signed by Maksim Sokolov, member of the Executive Committee and First Deputy CEO of LSR Group, and Nikolay Yemelyanov, Deputy Chairman for Social Affairs of the regional government.

The parties agreed to cooperate in the implementation of a joint project involving a construction of a building for people with disabilities in the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad Region.

"We have a lot of experience in the implementation of such projects," said Maksim Sokolov. "And we are going to take full advantage of it in the Leningrad Region where LSR Group is engaged in both, real estate development and the production of building materials. Supporting people who are in a difficult life situation in the regions of the company's presence is an important element of our corporate and social responsibility policy."

During the signing ceremony, Nikolay Yemelyanov noted that several years ago a Multicenter of Social and Labor Integration was opened in the Leningrad Region, helping people with health restrictions to adapt socially and find a job.

"The next step is to teach these people to live in their own home, and the partnership with LSR Group will help us achieve this," added Maksim Yemelyanov.

Since 2012, LSR Group has supported a wide range of programs initiated by the Association of Parents of Children with Disabilities GAOORDI with a goal of helping people with disabilities become independent members of the society. In 2017, LSR Group presented the first assisted living house for people with disabilities to GAOORDI. Today, 19 people with developmental disorders aged 25 to 42 live in this house that is located in the Novaya Okhta residential complex in Saint Petersburg. All residents of the house have their own rooms with all amenities and furniture. The three-story building has everything that people with disabilities may need. For this project, LSR Group was awarded the Investor of the Year prize by the Saint Petersburg Investment Committee.
