LSR Group Puts New Sand Deposit Into Operation

LSR Group Sand Business Unit (OJSC Rudas) put into operation the new land-based sand deposit in Leningrad Region. The license permits to extract more than 17 mn cubic meters of high-quality sand.
Sand deposit Kalelovo is located 35 kilometers from St Petersburg. Its proximity to the city ensures efficient logistics allowing to optimize the transportation costs.
The sand of this deposit is of high quality and can be used for residential and infrastructure construction as well as in the production of building materials.
The deposit is equipped with modern extraction equipment which ensures high productivity and allows the company to organize the regular supply of the required volumes of sand.
The new deposit provides the company with the replenishment of the sand reserves.
