Shpalernaya Street development starts selling Phase 3 properties.
27 November 2007
Construction Corporation Renaissance of St. Petersburg has started selling Phase 3 properties of the well-known 60 Shpalernaya Street development.
The design of the residential compound at 60 Shpalernaya Street won an Architecton award, received a Gold Diploma of the Art of Building-2003 international festival in nomination “Designs” and a Silver Diploma of the same festival in nomination “Developments” in 2006. Last week, at 60 Shpalernaya it was bestowed with an ARX Awards 2007 international award in nomination “Best Building/Residential Compound.”
The compound designed by Zemtsov, Kondiain and Partners architectural bureau comprises eight 9-storied towers. To provide for the visual exposure of the compound to the city and make the views of the surrounding architectural masterpieces available for house residents from any part of the compound, the towers are connected by means of 16-meter beam-free bays at the level of the 5th floor. The engineering design and complexity of its implementation are unique for St. Petersburg. The building looks light and transparent owing to the use of a large quantity of various glass: structural and semistructural, frame-free, sound-reflecting, decorated with metal, and tinted. The general concept of the compound is successfully supplemented with panoramic elevators wreathed with stairs that seem to be hovering in the air.
The interior is also subject to modern quality standards. The engineering systems support the high level of architecture: central air conditioning and water fire-fighting systems, closed-loop heating system and the Internet link — those are just some of the systems providing for comfortable living.
The cost per square meter of residential property varies from 139,500 to 372,000 roubles.
