Vozrozhdenie Sankt-Peterburga Construction Corporation OAO: The Royal House Built in Vyborg
12 December 2006
Vozrozhdenie Sankt Peterburga Construction Corporation presents a new luxurious residential building in Vyborg. Konung is a really royal house located on the main — Ratusha — square of the city (3 Severny Val).
The building is a historic, architectural ad cultural monument. It was first mentioned in the 17th century. One of the unique advantages of the building is magnificent views from windows to three cardinal points. These views are an excursion into the past… The faзade facing the Northern Levee lets admire the Vyborg Castle built in 1295 on the island (it is currently the Castle Island). The side from Ratusha Square gives views of the city hall — one of the most beautiful symbols of the city — and also to the Yacht Quay and the central monument of the knight Torgils Knutsson (founder of Vyborg). The ancient Clock Tower and residential buildings of the 18th — 19th centuries are seen from the faзade facing Podgornaya Street. Everything is full of history here. Northern Europe of the times of knightly campaigns… It is not by chance that a Swedish name was given to the building … Konung means a king, a chieftain, the supreme representative of nobility for Scandinavians in the early Middle Ages. The good-looker of Konung is distinguished by its grand and blazing faзade. The building comprises two buildings. The first one was cautiously reconstructed by the Corporation and partially finished. The second one is situated at the location of earlier destroyed buildings and finalizes the architectural composition. A cozy court-yard allows special warmness to the building.
Konung has 4 floors, 26 apartments with different layouts and views (3,634.64 sq.m.). There is a parking lot for 21 parking stalls. The total area of the building is 6,133.6 sq.m. The total area of two commercial premises is 176.07 sq.m. The price per sq.m. of commercial premises is US$ 4,143. The price per sq.m. of apartments ranges from US$ 2,367.3 to US$ 6,273.
The chief designer was KIF Architectural Restoration Workshop OOO. The investor is Vozrozhdenie Sankt Peterburga Construction Corporation OAO . The customer is Vyborgstroyrekonstruktsiya NPO ZAO . The facility started to be built in March 2005.
In 2001, Vozrozhdenie Sankt Peterburga Construction Corporation started investigating the possibility of expanding into other regions. The town of Vyborg is a promising territory for projects for luxurious housing construction. Vyborg is interesting by its location, in particular the center of the town that largely looks as historic buildings of St. Petersburg. Luxurious housing construction in Vyborg required the same professional approach as was applied in St. Petersburg. Finnish houses looking like St. Petersburg Stalin-era buildings used to be the most prestigious residential premises in Vyborg. When the Corporation entered the Vyborg market, apartments in Finnish houses were very expensive. There were no truly luxurious buildings like those having been built in St. Petersburg by that time in Vyborg. An obvious deficiency of demand on the luxurious residential real estate market in Vyborg became a decisive factor for the Corporation's entering this town. Thanks to this building, Vozrozhdenie Sankt Peterburga Construction Corporation implemented its well-known competitive advantages on the luxurious housing market of the bastile town. A complicated construction project has been successfully implemented; ergonomic apartments were built within ‘old walls'. Vozrozhdenie Sankt Peterburga Construction Corporation OAO is the leader of St. Petersburg luxurious housing construction market. The Corporation was established in 1994. Vozrozhdenie Sankt Peterburga Construction Corporation has successfully implemented 27 projects in the most prestigious, difficult and responsible sites of the city's historic center over 12 years — these are almost 50 residential buildings and 5 business centers. In 2005, the corporation commissioned the Preobrazhensky Business Center (14th line of the Vassilievsky Island, 7a), a residential building at 4 Bolshaya Morskaya Street, the 1st stage of the residential building at 4 Robespierre Embankment, 1st and 2nd stages of the residential building at 60 Shpalernaya Street. The total area of commissioned facilities amounted to 70,000 sq.m. In 2006, work continued to build the 1st stage of Paradny Kvartal — the first luxurious block in St. Petersburg, new buildings of the Kamennoostrovskaya Kollektsiya, luxurious residential premises Dom u Moria, premises at 60 Shpalernaya St., 4 Robespierre Embankment, and Apollo Business Center. New projects are being drafted.
