The ceremony, at which they announced names of the winning companies that had achieved the greatest success over the previous year and the name of the person who had made the greatest contribution to the development of building in St. Petersburg, took place on April 19 in the White Hall of the Marble Palace and has become an important event in the life of the city. Summarizing the results was preceded by several months of preparation. More than 2500 building companies in the North-West competed in 20 nominations for the right to be called the best. Those most suited were determined by a Council of Experts consisting of the city’s creative elite, entrepreneurs, public figures and politicians. Then the appropriate bodies checked the reputation of the participating companies and the level of their reliability on the market. Other enterprises in the LSR Group that also won Builder of the Year — 2006 awards were ZAO Gatchinsky DSK (winner of the Best Contract Builder nomination), ZAO DSK Blok (winner in the nomination for the Best Company in the sphere of State Orders) and OAO Combine-45, which was declared winner in the nomination for the Best Company for Producing and Supplying Building Materials, Constructions and Engineering Equipment.
Winning the Builder of the Year — 2006 Award should in the opinion of the management of ZAO Pobyeda LSR be considered not only as regular public recognition for the work of the enterprise, but as a significant event, since a very new combine (formed less than a year ago from three brick factories) has been able to beat dozens of other companies by winning the trust of clients and partners. The new brand, Pobyeda LSR, has managed to achieve fame and win recognition from consumers in an impressively short period of time.
The next aim is participation in the 10th All-Russian Competition for the Best Building Organization, as a building materials enterprise in Russia’s building industry. And without doubt, Pobyeda LSR has every chance of winning the highest place in this competition.
