On July 17, OAO Granit-Kuznechnoye began training managerial staff at the enterprise.

This is the first incidence of this type of training. For a period of many years raising the qualifications of the workforce has been one of the most important tasks at the enterprise.

Now the enterprise has banked on the main service managers, which include the top managers, the personnel directors and the line managers of the production units.

Training is arranged in several stages, in which the most difficult problems relating to personnel management will be dealt with. These include: how to reveal rapidly and unnoticeably the key qualities and values possessed by members of staff; how to manage staff motivation; and the proper way to form a powerful team.

In the opinion of Anna Makhortova, personnel director at OAO Granit-Kuznechnoye: “This training will help the service personnel and the line managers develop a common approach to solving the strategic problems facing the enterprise and coming to grips with the basic instruments of man-management, like: assessing the state of available resources, formulating tasks and objectives, delegating, supervising etc. When creating a strong team among the staff, it is primarily essential to ensure that it exists among the enterprise managers, who should be able to win over their subordinates by their actions and behaviour. The training is designed precisely with this in mind. Our team is a group of specialists who are strongly united. Each of them individually is a professional in his own right, but we all have a single aim in view — to make sure that the company remains the leader in its field.”
