The facility is being built under Russian Government Resolution No. 249, On Additional Steps to Procure Residential Premises to Military Men of the Russian Armed Forces.
More than 600 families of military men will receive convenient and comfortable apartments. Let's remind that the new block would comprise 16 three- and four-storey precast concrete buildings with one, two and three entrances. The total area of apartments is some 40 000 sq.m.
Implementation of this project enabled Block DSK to lay the foundations of the entirely new line of business — construction of low-rise panel buildings. This would enable the enterprise to generate a new offer for the real estate market and thus to compete with other low-rise construction technologies.
So far, Block DSK practiced construction of buildings from 7 to 17 floors. Construction of low-rise buildings is determined by specific features of architectural style of the town of Pushkin.
In construction of buildings, the ‘seamless' façade fit-out technology will be applied, using color solutions that meet the architectural style of the town.
The specific feature of Block DSK is the fact that the enterprise performs design, production and construction, which enables to implement projects of not only standard construction but also individual construction, taking into account local specific features of the site and the customer's wishes.
At present, Block DSK participates in implementation of three budget projects, construction of which is carried out as part of the national program entitled Affordable and Convenient Residential Premises to Russian Nationals. These include Rzhevka Porokhovye, Block 50 and the North Primorie section, quarters 56 АБ and 59 А. The total area of the facilities amounts to some 196,000 sq.m.
Block Housing Construction Company ZAO was established in 1992. Currently, Block DSK carries out full-cycle turn-key construction of residential buildings of precast reinforced concrete using different façade fit-out technologies. In 2004, the facility assembled some 90,000 sq.m. of residential premises; in 2005, this parameter was increased to 135,600 sq.m.
Block DSK was the first on the St. Petersburg construction market to apply seamless façade fit-out technologies in residential housing construction.
