DSK Blok uses modern technology to attract additional labour

07 February 2006

The personnel department at ZAO DSK Blok has come up with an effective answer — using the new technology of ‘outstaffing’, or taking on personnel who are not part of the company through the help of recruiting companies. The latter take upon themselves all matters relating to the calculation and payment of wages, benefits and taxes, as well as the registration of the necessary accounts documents, the conducting of all the various personnel procedures required by the country`s labour laws, and the final termination of labour relations at the request of ZAO DSK Blok with respect to any individual worker.

The personnel department together with the line managers have developed a set of criteria for selecting future workers, which include professional skills and work experience. A plan has also been drawn up for gradually attracting the appropriate number of workers for each period.

“Using ‘outstaffing’ technology,” said Oksana Asanova, personnel director at DSK Blok, “has made it possible for us to adopt a flexible approach to the utilization of our workforce. We can guarantee the necessary number of workers without overloading the staff and cut down the time spent on personnel paper work.

Within two weeks the recruiting company had provided a selection of personnel from the Republic of Bashkortostan in the Privolzhsky Federal Region. And currently 54 people are working in the moulding, reinforcing and concrete-mixing units.
