DSK Blok signs a contract for a million

17 January 2006

The purchased equipment will make it possible for the enterprise to produce three-dimensional frameworks for the thin-wall elements (120mm) that are essential for building single-layer external wall panels. The characteristics of the product make them suitable for assembling the outer contour of the panelled buildings in the Modernized 137 Series, and subsequently as a base for using seamless-faзade technology.

The use of the new equipment will be the first step in the work to create a welding unit capable of ensuring a full production cycle for the three-dimensional frameworks.

At present, DSK Blok only possesses equipment that makes it possible to produce frameworks of 160mm for part of the triple-layer external wall panels. The framework is the basis for the production of the prefabricated ferro-concrete slabs used in the construction of panelled buildings. Its size is determined by the size of the future products. The production of frameworks for ferro-concrete products of various thicknesses considerably reduces the process of preparing the concrete mix for the next product mould and improves the quality of the ready-made product.

The use of welding tongs makes it possible for the enterprise to divide production according to framework thickness, thereby increasing productivity and reducing costs. The installation of a production complex will make it possible to create a necessary reserve of different-size frameworks, which will reduce the time taken in making up the product set in the moulding unit.

At present, DSK Blok has begun preparatory work for installing new production equipment. This should be ready by the end of March 2006.
