A commission for transferring the houses to a maintenance company has proceeded to work in the military neighborhood. All the work is to be fully completed in September: 16 houses having a total of 600 flats will be handed over to the customer.
The construction of a neighborhood for servicemen's families in Pushkin is nearing completion. Currently the project is preparing for the acceptance procedure. All the work related to fitting out, roofing, faзades, engineering lines, landscaping and beautification of internal areas has been completed.
DSK Blok started building the military neighborhood back in June last year. Typically it takes two or three years to implement such a challenging project but the 16 houses were erected over a record-beating time — just five months in spite of unfavorable weather conditions. The high rates of construction were ensured through the use of high-performance complex owned by the company which includes industrial and construction facilities.
House building company Blok carries out general contractor's responsibilities. The company has used its own resources to manufacture and install RCC items, design and lay down the engineering networks, and do concrete casting. The customer of the project is Federal State Entity Joint Directorate for Implementation of Federal Investment Programmes.
As a result of its participation in the implementation of the project DSK Blok has identified quite a new area of its business activities — construction of low-rise panel houses. It helped the company to introduce a new offer to the real estate market and compete with other low-rise construction technologies. «In the framework of national project „Affordable and Comfortable Housing for Russian Citizens“ the demand for low-rise housing is growing, and it is forecasted to have a great future,» says Aleksandr Gobeev, CEO of DSK Blok.
It may be mentioned that the neighborhood lies on a plot of land of the RF Ministry of Defense in Pushkin (within the boundaries of such streets as Parkovaya, Gusarskaya and Sapyornaya). The project is implemented pursuant to Resolution No.249 of the RF Government «On Additional Measures to Provide Housing for the Servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.»
The residential complex will include 16 three- and four-storied prefab RCC houses with one, two and three entrances. The total space of flats is over 40,000 sq. m. The «seamless» technology was used to finish the facades of the houses.
