Mr. Dmitriy Goncharov, Deputy Chairman of the BoD of LSR Group was ranked within the TOP 25 Chairmen of the Board of Directors. Mr. Goncharov was the Chairman of the group’s BoD until August 2018. The members of the Board of Directors Mr. Aleksey Makhnev, Mr. Vitaliy Podolskiy (Chairman of the Personnel and Remuneration Committee), and Mr. Aleksandr Prisyazhnyuk (Chairman of the Audit Committee) ranked within the TOP 50 Independent Directors. These ratings were issued by the Independent Directors Association and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in partnership with PwC and the Moscow Exchange for the fiscal year 2017–2018.
“It is not only the board’s commitment and hard work that made this recognition possible, but also the LSR group’s reputation and 25 years of experience as the industry’s leader and innovator”, stated Mr. Goncharov. “Our company continues to set the highest standards in corporate governance. This year, LSR Group was the first among Russian developers to publish a Sustainable Development Report prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. We are also proud of our new electronic procurement platform launched this year. The platform was already recognized by the business community and the LSR group won the Competitive Procurement Leader award, the main professional competition for Russian ordering parties. The new platform ensured greater transparency and efficiency of the procurement process. I can assure you that our approach to corporate governance will continue to be based on transparency and understanding of the interests of all stakeholders and society as a whole”, concluded Mr. Goncharov.
The Director of the Year National Award was established in 2006. The ratings of directors in the field of corporate governance have been published annually since 2012. The rating methodology includes the calculation and analysis of the following indicators: the experience of candidates on boards of directors, work experience in companies listed in both, Russia and foreign markets, work experience in companies with large market capitalizations, and the individual candidate’s contribution towards the development of corporate governance in Russia.
